Trevor's Head 7:30pm, Green Lung 8:30pm
A cult band in every sense of the word, Green Lung emerged from the heavy rock scene around legendary London boozer The Black Heart with self-released debut EP Free The Witch (2018). Drawing on a host of peculiarly British influences, from proto-metal iconoclasts Black Sabbath and Black Widow to NWOBHM acolytes Angel Witch, Demon and Witchfinder General, the band have swiftly risen to the forefront of the UK metal scene. Wielding megalithic guitar riffs, psyched-out organ squalls and lyrics that celebrate the folklore, myths and legends of Britain, they conjure the wild and witchy spirit of their forebears for a new generation. Signed to Nuclear Blast, Green Lung have released two critically acclaimed albums, Woodland Rites (2019) and Black Harvest (2021), toured internationally with Clutch, and performed on festival stages from Roadburn to Bloodstock. 'This is heavy metal how it should be done' The Guardian
Trevor’s Head is a thick, greasy fondue of stoner rock, punk and grunge from the south east’s shittiest suburb, Redhill. They're set to release their second LP, ‘Tricolossus’, on 26/02/16 and have clocked up over 100 gigs a year for the last 3 years. With heavy gigging in Southern England and a European tour under their belts, they are now coming for the rest of the UK and beyond.
"Trevor's Head show the fine people of Redhill have a lot to be grateful for with their melodic heavy blues."
- Terrorizer Magazine
"['Otherside'] nails their fluid influences of Stoner Rock, Blues and Grunge into a cohesive, fun, surprisingly fast and unpretentious brew."
