Vocalist, Gustav Wood, explains the move, “to kick off the ‘Bones’ touring cycle we thought it would be cool to go back to where we started. We ended the first album cycle on a real high, playing venues and stages we'd always dreamed of, but this record is a rebirth for us, and with that in mind we're heading back for a special one off tour of the small venues we cut our teeth in. No fancy stage set up, no fancy lighting (we don't get on well with that anyway! See - London Forum) just us, you and a chance to have a really memorable intimate night. We're pumped and you should be too. This is a one off tour with not many tickets available, once they're gone, they're gone, so get them now!" Over 14's only.

ALESANA & WE CAME AS ROMANS

Ladies and gentlemen please take your seats, the story is about to begin." This phrase, uttered by an unknown announcer to a murmuring crowd, is what kicks off Alesana's fourth full-length A Place Where The Sun Is Silent and hopefully it's enough notice to inform the listener that they're in for an hour of the most inventive music they've ever heard. Since forming in Raleigh, North Carolina, in 2004 Alesana have been creating some of the most cerebral and theatrical music the underground has to offer—and the band's Epitaph debut sees them transcending scenes and genres to craft something truly unique and original. LIGHTS

Support from Nightbox. When electro-rock sensation Lights first hit the music scene in 2008, she was just a songwriter with a synth and a dream. Her name may have been pluralized but Lights Poxleitner was a one- woman show who played and programmed her own instruments and sang her own lyrics. This admirable self-reliance is rare in pop—in fact, Lights, signed a publishing deal at 16 and began writing songs for other artists—but after her 2008 self-titled debut EP (precocious enough to earn her a best new artist Juno) and gold-selling full-length follow-up The Listening, Lights was ready to open herself up to collaborations on her unexpectedly experimental album Siberia. And by choosing such leftfield collaborators as live electronic outfit Holy Fuck and rising rapper Shad, she also opened up her sound. Over 14's only.

    THE BIG PINK

Plus 2:54 & Two Jackals. Robbie Furze and Milo Cordell formed The Big Pink in 2007. Although both of music stock, their debut, A Brief History of Love, was the first collection of songs that either were really able call their own. Both from London, the genetics of The Big Pink are not incidental. Milo, the son of 1960s producer Denny Cordell, is behind the celebrated Merok label, instrumental in unleashing the mutant soul of Crystal Castles, Salem, and Teengirl Fantasy upon the world, while Furze first made a name for himself playing with industrial behemoths Panic DHH and Alec Empire. Such disparate roots speak loudly of the ambitions of The Big Pink, as they pull unexpected and marginal forms into the spotlight of a wider audience. Over 14's only. 14's - 17's to be accompanied by an adult. Please note date change. Original tickets valid.

    SPECTOR *SOLD OUT!*

Special guest David's Lyre. After the release of the widely acclaimed 'Never Fade Away' and fan favourite 'What You Wanted' comes Spector's third and final 7" in a trilogy of singles for Dalston based Luv Luv Luv records: 'Grey Shirt & Tie.' Inspired by a seemingly fated, chance encounter between lead singer Fred MacPherson, and a childhood sweetheart whilst shopping in Primark , ‘Grey Shirt & Tie’ is Spector at their most haunting and minimal, touched by the production greatness of Craig Silvey (Arcade Fire, Arctic Monkeys, The Horrors). In keeping with their previous 2 releases. Spector eschew a B-side , instead favouring a remix of the A-side, which on this occasion comes from esteemed friends and neighbours, The Big Pink. The release will also be accompanied by a stunning video from Swedish director, Mattias Johansson. With ‘Grey Shirt & Tie’, Spector round off a phenemonal year that has taken them from a sold out debut show in a Stoke Newington basement in January, to their own headline national dates, 'Spectour 1', in October via some storming performances at their own sold out shows at Efes, the Barfly and the Shacklewell Arms and standout performances at festivals such as Field Day, Latitude, Reading and Leeds, and supporting the likes of the Killers, Florence + the Machine and the Vaccines. As 2011 culminates with their first foray into Europe and a headline London show at Bethnal Green Working Mens club, next year will see the release of Spector's debut album. With major, international festivals and supports already in place, 2012 is set to be the year Spector take their 21st century torch songs to a wider stage. Over 18's only.

    THE WHIP

Special guests The Good Natured. The Whip return with a new album, entitled ‘Wired Together’ in September, the follow up to their ‘X Marks Destination’ debut of 2008. Having released a clutch of highly acclaimed singles including club hit ‘Trash’ their debut established the Manchester band at the forefront of a new scene as enamoured of electronic dance music as it was of alternative rock music. Subsequent live dates across their own tours and stand out festival performances saw the band rightfully regarded as one of the most exciting new bands on the scene, with NME thrilling to “A cornucopia of throbbing new wave to amuse and delight” and The Independent On Sunday stating that the band embodied ‘the stylish hedonism of the new century’. For the past eighteen months, the trio that comprise The Whip; Bruce Carter, Nathan Sudders and Fiona Daniel, have been working on ‘Wired Together’ with the last six months spent night and day in the studio of producer Jagz Kooner in London. A move on from the high octane nature of ‘X Marks Destination’, ‘Wired Together’ retains The Whip’s ability to set pulses racing with pounding rhythms and fluid, dancefloor friendly beats but broadens the band’s palate to introduce a more celebratory vibe and a more lyrical version of the band’s dance music. With fans everywhere from NME, The Guardian and Neon Gold to Zane Lowe, Huey Morgan and The Sun, the band are sure to be one to watch throughout 2012. This massive twenty-eight date tour will see them preview songs from their forthcoming debut album, produced by celebrated DJ and remixer Brad Baloo (The Nextmen). Having been friends since school, The Milk began life as a teenage punk band: after some disastrous efforts to act rock-and-roll, the group soon split, though lead-singer Rick’s belting soulful voice arguably benefited from these loud, formative years. Sometime later, the boys revisited the classic Motown, Stax and Trojan Records that had soundtracked their teens, intent on putting on a club night. Instead, they hit a creative breakthrough. Holed up in the shed at the bottom of their garden, all new songs and sounds were experimented with, which were written in-between and sometimes in response to a series of make-do jobs in Wickford, Essex. SLEIGH BELLS new album Reign Of Terror is out on February 13th, and shortly after, they play Concorde 2. Their electronic beats thud with gut-rattling low end; guitars are distorted siren squalls, or heavily gated and thoroughly crunched power chords, or playful, beta-band-esque strums. The band have experienced a rapid ratcheting up in popularity as word has spread about their brutal, clever pop and compulsive live shows. Over 14's only.

Special guests Sissy & The Blisters. The Duke Spirit have announced the release of new single ‘Don’t Wait’ on November 21st. This is the second track to be taken from the band’s critically acclaimed album ‘Bruiser’. The five piece from London; Liela Moss, Toby Butler, Luke Ford, Olly Betts and Marc Sallis; have been touring in support of their new record, including a sell out show at London's Scala and an electrifying album launch show performed in the middle of a professional boxing ring. ’Don’t Wait’ is an incredibly sensual yet tough rock and roll offering from The Duke Spirit, that builds to a feverish climax. Here the band are mixing prowling guitars, witchy percussion, and primal drumming, with the inimitable vocal delivery of Liela Moss. The recording sessions for ‘Bruiser’ were fuelled by the band's rekindled appreciation for evocative space, finding breath within a minimal approach and revealing the shadows in the corners of the songs. Bruiser is the third album from The Duke Spirit, following on from their much lauded debut Cuts Across The Land and 2008’s Neptune. Over 14's only.

    HOBBIE STUART

There’s more to Hobbie Stuart than meets the eye. A Brightonian of Brazilian and British/Italian heritage, Hobbie has shot to worldwide attention with a series of homemade YouTube videos featuring cover versions of tracks by the likes of Rihanna, Justin Timberlake, Katie Perry and Adele. These aren’t your average cover versions though as Hobbie deliberately sets out to make them markedly different from the originals. 'I changed the chords and the pace,’ he says, ‘layered some of the melodies and put harmonies on them. I worked out a different way to do it.’ ‘Covers are a great way to get noticed.’ He could be right. To date Hobbie has chalked up 25,000 subscribers and his 11 videos have had three million hits. Meanwhile, offline, he and his band have performed sold out gigs in Brighton and London during summer 2011. But it’s Hobbie’s own material that has earned him a record deal and the very real potential of becoming a major pop star. His sound moves between uptempo songs with beats and synths, and a slower, more organic acoustic feel. What’s refreshing about Hobbie is that he sings with his own accent – think Lily Allen meets Mike Skinner – and with an unapologetically emotional edge, influenced by his connection with Brazilian culture. ‘I put emotion into the tunes, which a lot of pop artists don’t these days,’ says Hobbie. ‘My songs are about girls and relationships and all of that, things that everyone can relate to. It’s what I like singing about.’ Over 14's welcome. 14's/15's to be accompanied by an adult.

    THE MACCABEES

The Maccabees have announced they will release their highly anticipated third studio album ‘Given To The Wild’ on January 9th on Fiction Records. The five piece from London - Orlando Weeks, Hugo White, Felix White, Rupert Jarvis and Sam Doyle – spent two years writing and recording the follow-up to 2009’s critically-lauded ‘Wall Of Arms’. Having previously written as a collective, ‘Given To The Wild’ saw the band explore a new approach to songwriting. Avoiding the studio, each member retreated to their South London homes to develop ideas individually. Once these sketched ideas began to take form, the band took them into their new home – a shambolic rehearsal space and recording studio near them that they discovered had been previously christened ‘The Drugstore’ by its former owners Jesus and Mary Chain. From here the songs evolved into the thirteen tracks that would make up ‘Given To The Wild’, an epic and beguiling masterpiece of distorted pop, psychedelia and soulful guitar wig outs. It is the band’s most adventurous work to date. All ages welcome. Under 14's to be accompanied by an adult.

If the past couple of year’s have been rock’n’roll’s radio iceage, right now our toes are teetering on the brink of a lush new dawn. The question is; beyond the shit-storm of supposed saviour bands whose name-drops christened the New Year, which of the lauded gangs of axe-wielders are the genuine sculptors of tomorrow? Well, of the few promised Next Big Things, none have actually earned their hype more than Camden’s Tribes. “When you’re a kid you want to be cool, so you make experimental weird music. But for us, I think there just came a point where we couldn’t be bothered messing around anymore,” prophesises singer Johnny Lloyd. “I realized that there’s no point being in a band if you’re not gonna be one of those life-changing bands. Not the one’s you stroke your chin too, the one’s you beat your heart plate to.” It’s this unabashed manifesto of anthemia that’ve taken the rag-tag four-piece from prodigious debutant slots opening for idols The Pixies, to relentless grassroots grafting of the UK’s dives, to being christened “The future of rock’n'roll” by fanboys The Mystery Jets, a sentiment chimed by everyone from NME to Radio 1′s Huw Stephens and Zane Lowe, the latter of whom named their debut single Hottest Record In The World amidst an airwave airstrike that saw it tear through most of the BBC and XFM. They’re a shining testament to the blood, sweat and tears so many buzz bands seem to bypass these days, at their peril. Joining the dots between Nirvana and The Libertines, their debut album, including lead single ‘Sapho’ is a fittingly heart-racing call-to-arms for a generation left crying out for band name worthy of being Tip-Ex’d onto a satchel. RIZZLE KICKS *SOLD OUT!*

Technically, Rizzle Kicks was founded in about 1996, when both members, in their miniature form, used to play together round Rizzle's auntie's house. It wasn't until eight years later that the pair reunited after both moving to Brighton and facing each other head-on in a Sunday league football match. Four years later, they ended up going to the same college and one day Rizzle got Sylvester to 'Lalala' all over a track. They soon realised how nicely their styles fitted together. Rizzle was just finishing off his own mixtape, rapping over samples of some of their favourite artists (Gorillaz, Lily Allen, Arctic Monkeys etc) when they officially became Rizzle Kicks. As a newly formed duo, they started to hustle for beats from local producers and started making their own music videos with a friend of theirs. Having finally been able to get into a proper studio with some talented producers, Rizzle Kicks are now working on their album, a mixture of pop and hip hop incorporating the fun elements of the old school hip-hop era circa 1988-92. In association with Kilimanjaro. Under 14's to be accompanied by an adult.

    CLOCK OPERA

Clock Opera make extraordinarily accessible electronic pop music. They may draw from such esoteric sources as the systems music of Steve Reich and Philip Glass and have played their second ever gig at the Queen Elizabeth Hall backing the Ballet Rambert, but you don’t need any special qualifications to enjoy what they do - just an appreciation of idiosyncratic electronic and organic sounds. Over 18's only.

    SLOW CLUB

Charles And Rebecca Are Slow Club. They hail from Sheffield and are a sort of one man band. Only with two people. He strums guitar and sings and she plays drums and all sorts of weird instruments, like water-filled glass bottles, spoons and the back of a wooden chair. And sometimes an organ called Miles. Not something you get to see and hear every day. The effect is rockabilly and somewhat folksy but thankfully their songs are fairly jolly affairs without a bit of teenage angst in sight. Slow Club are touring - don't miss them. Tickets on sale Friday 3rd February! Over 14's only.
